Privacy

Read the Room does not require an account. The game stores a random browser ID in a cookie so it can remember your locked answer, records, and daily play history.

Submitted answers are stored so the daily results can be counted and clustered. Do not submit anything private, identifying, or sensitive as an answer.

Basic technical logs may be collected by the hosting provider for security, debugging, and reliability. If analytics are added later, they should be used to understand game performance, not to sell personal information.

Cookies

The browser cookie is used for gameplay continuity. Clearing cookies may reset your local records and may make the site treat you like a new player.
